Jeffrey Petrucelly One

Jeffrey Petrucelly has been practicing law in Massachusetts for 37 years.
Attorney Petrucelly is primarily engaged in general civil litigation practice
focusing in the areas of personal injury, including automobile injuries,
workplace injuries, slips and falls, and toxic torts, such as asbestos, lead
poisoning, and radiation; labor and employment law, primarily representing
employees, in all matters of their employment, including discrimination claims,
contracts, benefits, promotions, demotions, and termination; business law and
non-profit organizations; and real estate, housing, and probate, including
wills, health care proxies, powers of attorney and estates. For the third consecutive year, Jeffrey Petrucelly has been listed as a New England Super Lawyer (November 2009). New England Super Lawyers identifies the top 5% of attorneys in each state who have been chosen by their peers and by research of Law & Politics Magazine. Professional Experience Attorney Jeffrey Petrucelly started the law firm with Burton A. Nadler in 1983 and has been the principal partner for 26 years. Previously, Attorney Petrucelly was in private practice and worked in Legal Services.

Attorney Petrucelly has spearheaded the Fernald and Wrentham Schools litigation for over 10 years and has litigated many of the cases listed on the Firm’s website link “our work”.
Admissions and Memberships
After graduating from Harvard Law School, Attorney Petrucelly was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1972, in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts in 1973, in the First Circuit Court in Massachusetts in 1981, and in the United States Supreme Court in 1985.

Areas of Practice Jennifer M. Norris practices in the areas of civil litigation, family law, personal injury, consumer protection, employment, housing, business matters and real estate. Attorney Norris joined Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C. as an associate in August, 2000, and became partner in 2007. Education J.D., Boston College Law School, 1999 (summa cum laude) B.A., Wellesley College, 1989 (cum laude) Professional Experience Attorney Norris has gained a wide variety of professional experience in her work at Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C., ranging from representing individuals in estate planning and real estate matters to litigating complex personal injury and employment discrimination cases. Attorney Norris has litigated cases before judges and juries in the Superior Courts, Probate & Family Courts, District Courts, Housing Court, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Prior to joining Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, Attorney Norris worked for an immigration law firm and various general practitioners. During law school, she worked at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, Greater Boston Legal Services, and the Cambridge Human Rights Commission. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Norris worked at the Cambridge Women’s Center, a non-profit women’s organization, for five years. Practice Highlights § Successfully settled a case concerning the lead poisoning of three children by exposing that the defendant had submitted false evidence to the court. § Obtained treble damages for clients under the Payment of Wage Act, Consumer Protection Act, and landlord-tenant laws. § Achieved a divorce settlement in which the Wife was awarded the entire marital home as well as alimony, health insurance, and a large portion of the Husband’s retirement assets. Admissions and Memberships Attorney Norris was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1999 and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 2001. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association. Additional Information Attorney Norris grew up in Brookline, is married and has two young sons. She enjoys her two women’s book clubs, outdoor activities, politics, her two cats, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox. Eliza J. Minsch One

Eliza J. Minsch focuses her practice on civil litigation, family law, employment law, housing, worker's compensation, and personal injury. Attorney Minsch joined Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C. as an associate in March, 2005. Education J.D., Northeastern University School of Law, 2004 B.A., Ithaca College, 1998 (cum laude) Professional Experience Prior to joining Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, Attorney Minsch worked with a small local firm representing clients with disability matters. During law school, she interned for a United States Magistrate Judge, provided legal assistance to low-income clients at a legal services hotline, and worked at two small firms in the Boston area. She also advocated for low-income clients through Northeastern University’s Poverty Law Clinic. Practice Highlights § Successfully negotiated a settlement on behalf of a family suffering from mold problems in their rental housing. § Represented a female employee in a sexual harassment and gender discrimination lawsuit against her former large corporate employer at both the Superior Court and Appeals Court levels. § Assisted disabled employee in obtaining retirement benefits. § Successfully represented tenants in a trial against their former landlord for his failure to provide adequate heat during the winter months and other violations of Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. Obtained a favorable judgment for her clients as well as a substantial attorney’s fee award Admissions and Memberships Attorney Minsch was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2004. Daniel F. McCabe, Jr. Associate One

Daniel F. McCabe, Jr.’s practice concentrates on civil litigation, employment law, housing, and personal injury. Attorney McCabe joined Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C. as an Associate in 2009. Education J.D., Northeastern University School of Law, 2004 B.A., Gettysburg College, 2001 (summa cum laude) Professional Experience Prior to joining Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, Attorney McCabe was a Litigation Associate with the firm Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP, also in Boston. While in law school, Attorney McCabe was an intern for a U.S. Magistrate Judge, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, and a small Boston firm with a focus on employment law. Practice Highlights § Represents various clients on claims arising with regard to their employment, or termination of employment. § Represents consumers on claims arising under the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act. § Successfully represented and obtained payment for a small business owner where a vendor failed to pay for services rendered. Susan K. Jacoby One

Susan K. Jacoby is the firm’s paralegal, concentrating on personal injury, workers compensation, civil litigation, family and probate court cases. She assists the attorneys in preparing cases by maintaining regular contact with clients, drafting affidavits and pleadings, scheduling hearings, summarizing records, corresponding with insurance companies, and interviewing witnesses. Education Northeastern University – Paralegal Certificate, 1987 Brandeis University, BA, 1970 Professional Experience Susan Jacoby has been with the firm of Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C. for 15 years. Before coming to the firm, she worked for Attorney Katherine Triantafillou as a paralegal for eight years. Additional Information Susan has been active in many women’s and community justice organizations in the Boston area since her graduation from Brandeis University. She was a founding member of the Cambridge Women’s Center Counseling Group and one of the editors of For Shelter and Beyond, a nationally distributed training manual for working with battered women published by the Massachusetts Coalition of Battered Women’s Groups. She is Chair of the Board of Reflect and Strengthen, a grassroots leadership development group for young working class women from Boston's urban neighborhoods and a Board Member of the Poor Peoples United Fund. In May of 2006, Susan was honored by the National Lawyers Guild, Massachusetts Chapter, with its highest award for a paralegal at its annual dinner.
