Please note:
One State Street
is not directly on State Street, but in the walkway/alley behind the Old State
House Building. Please see picture to right.
One State Street
does not have a parking garage nor is there any readily available on-street
parking.
There are
several parking garages in the area, which charge by the hour and can fill up
quickly. Parking is available at the PI Alley Parking Garage on Washington
Street, at the Center Plaza garage on Tremont Street, 75 State Street Parking
Garage (entrance on Broad Street), and the Government Center garage on Congress
Street at New Chardon Street
By Car
From Points North:
I-93 South. Take
Exit 24 toward Callahan Tunnel/Logan Airport. Follow signs for Government
Center. Turn right onto North Street. Turn left onto Congress Street. Turn
Right onto State Street. One State Street is right behind the Old State House.
From Points
South and West: Follow Mass Pike to I-93 North. While in tunnel, take new Exit 23
to Government Center. Turn left onto Congress Street. Turn right onto State
Street.
From Logan
Airport:
Follow signs to Boston and Sumner Tunnel; take tunnel. At the end of the tunnel,
bear right and take the second left (do not take I-93 South). Bear left onto
Blackstone Street and continue straight on Surface Road. Follow Surface Road (Faneuil
Hall will be on the right). Turn right onto North Street, then turn left onto
Congress Street. Turn right onto State Street.
From Storrow Drive (east or west): Exit Charles Street/Government Center.
Follow Cambridge Street to fifth traffic light. Turn left onto New Chardon. At
next traffic light, turn right onto Congress Street. Second traffic light is the
intersection of State and Congress Streets. Take a right onto State Street.
By Public Transportation (MBTA)
Red Line
to Downtown
Crossing. Switch to Orange Line towards Oak Grove. Exit at State Street. Follow
signs to Old State House exit. (Old State House is at the intersection of
Devonshire, State, and Congress Streets). One State Street is right behind the
Old State House in the alley, between Washington Street and Devonshire Street.
Orange Line
to State Street station. Follow signs to Old State House exit. (Old State House
is at the intersection of Devonshire, State, and Congress Streets). One State
Street is right behind the Old State House in the alley, between Washington
Street and Devonshire Street.
Green Line
to Government Center. At exit, turn right to Court Street. Turn left on Court
Street and follow to State Street (at Old State House). One State Street is on
the corner of State, Court and Washington Street. One State Street is right
behind the Old State House in the alley, between Washington Street and
Devonshire Street.
Blue Line
to State Street. Take the Old State House exit. One State Street is right behind
the Old State House in the alley, between Washington Street and Devonshire
Street.
